A firm favourite with viewers, Carmel has been described as a Gem from the Emerald Isle with her Irish charm and warm southern accent.

Carmel trained as an actress in Ireland and moved to London to pursue her dream as a TV Presenter. She got her break in 2004 when filming an advert for bid TV, she was asked to send in a showreel and was offered a full time position.

It was a fantastic training ground presenting a three hour live unscripted show five days a week.

With thousands of hours of live television presenting experience, Carmel went freelance in 2006 and has since worked on numerous TV and internet channels covering a wider range of work including presenting, acting, autocue, interviewing and voiceover work.

June 2011 - Carmel can now be seen presenting full-time on the popular national shopping channel QVC
